Roof hatches

Roof hatches enable safe access to the roof of the building. Similarly to skylights, they are also an element of lighting the interior of the building. The DWD BauTech company offers roof hatches of standard dimensions and custom-made, according to the customer’s guidelines.

In the standard version, the hatch cover is made of aluminum and steel profiles, filled with cellular polycarbonate of various thicknesses. The cover is based on a straight or slanted base made of galvanized steel sheet. It is possible to paint the structure of the hatch and its base in any color from the RAL palette.

The opening of the hatch is supported by gas springs. The function of a roof hatch can also be performed by a properly prepared smoke vent with an electric actuator.
