SPORTS HALLS WITH A SPAN OF UP TO 60M AND A PEAK HEIGHT OF UP TO 20M!

Pol-Plan introduces a new, bent aluminum profile, which allows the construction of the largest tent halls available on the market with a maximum span of up to 60m and a peak height of up to 20mThis will allow the construction of large-surface sports halls, e.g. multi-season roofing for tennis courts.

The first implementation of the CES hall with dimensions of 25x50m and a height of 12m at the top was erected for Jurapark Bałtów. The arched hall serves in summer as a roller skating rink and as an ice rink in winter.

CRS TENT HALL - TENSILE FABRIC ROOFING FOR PADEL COURT

The cost-effective roofing of sports fields and courts can now be created on the basis of CRS tent halls with an arched roof structure. This type of hall does not have bracing ropes under the roof, providing adequate space for the game. The last project is a hall with dimensions of 22.5 x 26 x 6 m, which is acommodates for two padel courts and was built in Denmark.

FOOTBALL PITCH ROOFING

Football pitches, including those created under the government’s Orlik programme, can be easily roofed with durable and cost-effective aluminium profile structures designed for decades of use. A good example is the pitch roofing completed for the Warta Śrem sports club. The club’s management was looking for structural solutions to roof the 27×50 metre pitch.
The design would ensure that it could be played all year round, including in the summer. Steel halls, truss halls, inflatable halls, balloon halls and aluminium halls are available for roofing of football pitches. Steel arch halls are quite expensive and were well beyond the club’s budget. On the other hand, balloon halls, which are also a popular solution for roofing of sports facilities, did not meet all requirements. In the summer, the balloon hall structure has to be dismantled and space is needed to store the hall components. Constant inflation is also required to maintain the increased pressure inside the balloon, which comes at a cost. Tent halls with a durable PVC tarpaulin cover allow for year-round indoor training, even in summer, which is made possible by removable tarpaulin segments in the side walls. The club’s decision to choose Pol-Plan’s long-lasting tent hall as a pitch roof was based on the qualities of the structure designed for decades of use without special requirements and maintenance cost of the structure apart from inspections and possible tarpaulin repairs, the lead time (6 weeks from placing the order and assembly time of 4 days), as well as low cost, especially in comparison to traditional sports facilities.
